Future Projects
I thought maybe you would all want to know what I am, and will be, working on. I have planned out the entire "Alphabet" detective series. So here it is:
ACCIDENTS HAPPEN - Marti's best friend mysteriously dies, while gathering information for her investigative report, on five deaths that were ruled out accidents by police. Where will the clues lead Marti?
BOILING POINT - One of Manny Pascual's race boat warehouses explodes, destroying everything and killing a valued employee. Marti and Eddie want to find the culprit, but Manny wants them dead. Who will get to him first?
CONCEALED IDENTITY - A man is found murdered in his own home. His wife is devastated. The clues lead Marti through a maze of secrets and lies. Will Marti be able to find the killer before the killer finds her?
DEADLY GAME - Eddie's old pal from high school is just elected Mayor of Hialeah. While enjoying a Dolphin game in the skybox, a sniper bullet takes his life. Marti and Eddie are on the hunt, but this one is personal.
EXCLUSIVE REPORT - A tabloid reporter 'falls' into a crocodile pit at Metro Zoo. He had recently printed a story about a mob queen and a highly decorated police captain. Was it really a slip and fall? What else did he know?
FORESEEING DEATH (working title) - A spiritualista (or psychic) hires Marti to help her resolve her dreams. She is seeing murders before they happen. Will Marti find the killer or is it all a bunch of huckus pockus?
GRIP OF HORROR - In 1974, young girls were being murdered, but the killer was never found. The bodies were marked by a heart with a slash through it on the victims' foreheads. Now, 30 years later, it seems the killer is back. Can Eddie and Marti uncover the clues before more blood is shed?
HORSE SENSE (working title) - Winning horses are disappearing from the track, and their jockeys are turning up dead. **This plot is still iffy. Do you have a better suggestion and title? I'd love to hear it.**
IN TOO DEEP - A local gambler is found strangled in his hotel room. He was known for his cheating and by the looks of it, had cheated the wrong guy. But, when the Indian statue he had won, in his first legitimate game, is missing, Marti and Eddie are there to figure out the truth.
JUSTICE NIGHTS - There is a serial killer in the loose, but what do the prosecuting attorneys have to say about it. Where will the clues lead Marti and Eddie this time? There seems to be a lot of red tape and cover ups.
KEEPING SECRETS - Craig Jillian was a multi million dollar business man. A crazy divorce and dead partner later, he's on the streets without a penny to his name. After two years, someone is trying to kill him. Eddie and Marti are on the job, but will they uncover more than the killer?
L - I really have nothing for this one as of yet. I am open to suggestions.
MILES TO GO - A woman is kidnapped and Marti is being lead across state lines to find her. Who is the woman, and why is Marti being led on a wild goose chase?
NOVEMBER RAINS (working title) - A woman mysteriously disappears and her finacee has no idea why, or where she could be. Marti is asked to find her, but along the way discovers why the girl fled her happy life.
ON THE EDGE - Two extreme athletes always in competition, but one day one of them is found dead. Who killed him, and why?
P - Here's another one I am not too sure of.
QUICK GETAWAYS - **I like the title, but I am iffy in the plot. I'm open for suggestions.**
RENTED SPACE - No one knows the new neighbors on Marti's floor. They moved in and no one has seen them since. What's going on in there? Marti and Eddie are just the two to find out.
SUBLIME THOUGHTS - Marti is suddenly receiving dead roses and dark poetry. Does she have a stalker, or is someone trying to drive her insane?
TRUTH IN ADVERTISING - **I like the title, but again I have no plot for it.**
UNDER THE STARS - Astronomers believe a celestial phenomenon is approaching the Earth, but a small group of teens believe the end of the world is coming. Eddie's niece is sucked, and he needs Marti to help snap her out of it. What do the teens have planned? Can Marti and Eddie get to them in time?
VICIOUS CYCLES - A pack of Bikers rolls into town. Not everyone is happy, especially when bad things start to happen. Marti and Eddie are on the job as they try to figure out who did what, and why.
WRITTEN IN BLOOD - A single mother, desperate to protect her children, signs a document she should have read through first. Her parents take her children, and leave without telling her. What is she to do? How binding was the document, and why would her parents take her children? Marti is going to need a lot of help on this one.
X-RAY VISION - Hidden cameras are taking pictures that are showing up on the internet. Who's behind it? Will Marti and Eddie find out before they are the next internet stars?
YESTERDAY'S NEWS - An old case shows up on Marti's doorstep, ready to be reopened. What is it and how did it get to her?
Z - *I have no title, but I have a plot* Marti is being set up for a hit and run that resulted in death. Can Eddie find out who is setting her up before she is sent away to prison for life?
